  • Background and purpose

Knowing how to accurately and confidently communicate about vaccine safety is a vital part of all vaccination interventions. In 2018, under the auspice of the World Health Organization, the Vaccine Safety Communications (VSC) e-library was established and made available from www.vsc-library.org

    Description

The VSC e-library is an open access, crowd sourced repository of pragmatic tools and resources to communicate about the risks and benefits of vaccines and vaccine safety, to increase public health knowledge, promote health-seeking behaviors, and to help prevent dangerous misconceptions about vaccine safety and vaccine administration practices.

    Target audiences

The library is open to  the health sector (immunization programs’ and national regulatory agencies’ staff), and communication officers.
